GUSTAV KLIMT - THE KISS

Gustav Klimt (1862-1918) was a prominent contributor to the Belle Époque period, which embraced the blossoming of the Art Nouveau movement. A founding member of the anti-establishment Vienna Secession group, his work was often inspired by ancient art and the female form.

We have reproduced his most famous work The Kiss, using pure gold and platinum as well as ceramic colours, to recreate the symbolism and imagery within this sumptuous and dazzling image.

Using a large format ceramic tile Original Style have been able to create raised effects similar to the original painting. The result is a brilliant recreation of the original image which can be used in any indoor location, such as chimney breasts, patios, studios and conservatories, as well as bathrooms and showers.
