Basalt Tiles

Basalt was once - many millions of years ago - flowing molten lava, the outpouring of fiery volcanoes.

Now there is only a hint of its dramatic past: you can see the tiny bubbles that formed when it was cooling into the solid stone it has become.

Cool, smooth and dark, basalt is incredibly hard-wearing and suitable for most areas.

Available as either Honed or Polished tiles.

Available as: 60 x 30cm | 45 x 45cm | 30 x 30cm tiles.

Please note: One of Basalt's inherent features is that its surface is pitted with tiny holes or voids. Care must be taken when applying adhesive and when grouting. We also advise the use of black grout.
