The Winchester Tile Company is a longstanding Brit born and bred collection, with a huge selection of classic and unique offerings. Last week the Winchester Tile Company was featured by the Telegraph as one of the top 50 stylish brands you need in your home! The collection consists of three core ranges, Artisan, Residence and Classic. These are crafted in our factory by a team of local crafts men and women. The article features a fantastic selection of stylish British products, many of which would work hand in hand teamed with tiles.
Winchester Tiles are suitable for both kitchens and bathrooms. Choose from whites, creams or decorated tiles like the Chateaux collection for a statement splashback or an entire feature wall as below! This style of kitchen lends itself to a range cooker, so try Stoves a company also featured by the Telegraph, and choose from a selection of traditional or contemporary style range cookers.
For bathrooms take a look at Lapis an intense deep blue with a distinctive glossy glaze. Team with classic Perrin and Rowe taps, another stylish British brand featured by the Telegraph. These elegant taps have been cast, machined, soldered, plated and assembled since 1978 and would look stunning against dark inky blue and crisp white glossy tiles. For a Statement bath look no further than Chadder&Co who supply the finest collection of traditional and vintage style baths.
A made in Britain stamp indicates good quality as well as longevity. Like Winchester Tiles, our Odyssey and Artworks collection are also hand crafted here in our factory in Devon. Artworks was our first collection of tiles, made especially for walls and created using traditional methods still adhered to today. Many of the same timeless colourways and designs are still in the range, as well as three new colours, Chancel Grey, Vintage White and Westminster Grey launched in October last year. These new shades have a contemporary feel and look beautiful in both kitchens and bathroom settings.
We’ve worked with some fantastic British brands over the years, like Castrads who create beautiful cast iron radiators as featured below, the perfect partner to Artworks tiles!
For some detail therapy take a look at the Odyssey collection which was featured by Houzz last week in their idea books. Idea books are a great way to find inspiration for interior makeovers, especially if you know you want to redecorate your room but don’t know where to start!
