Our 2015 Highlights

With a only a few weeks of the year left we thought we’d take a look back at 2015 and what a year it’s been! With so many exciting new product launches, projects and events it’s no wonder 2015 has flown by – It’s been a full and productive year so here’s a roundup of what we’ve been up to

Victorian Floor Tiles

Last year, we unveiled a host of new additions to our Victorian Floor Tile collection. This style of geometric tiling is pivotal to the Original Style portfolio, and something we are well known for, so we put significant thought into how we could refresh the collection to accommodate changing tastes and styles.
With this in mind we added more new sizes in the new grey colours back in March 2015 in order to give traditional designs a contemporary edge as well as create new patterns. The new additions were specially selected to emphasise the versatility of this style of flooring and to show how it can be used in modern properties as well as period homes.

In May our Mosaics Summer Collection was launched, with over 30 lines added to the range. The Collection includes appealing new textures, materials, shapes and colours to enhance our existing extensive range of wall and floor mosaics.
Mosaics are probably the most versatile of all tiling formats: small pieces of glass/stone/shell/ ceramic/porcelain/metal (or a combination of all or any of these) are all held together on the reverse side, usually by a mesh backing (some have a film or paper facing).

Not long ago in September we added more than 30 new products to our Earthworks collection. They included hexagons, tumbled marble and some additions to existing ranges.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about natural stone tiles is their combined durability and aesthetic appeal. Our stone tiles are already millions of years old, forged by the Earth, before they make it into the home. Each features natural variation and subtle differences from one tile to the next. What's more - their appearance will gently evolve over the decades creating a naturally aged patina.

In March we launched our Tileworks Spring collection which saw the addition of popular ranges like Montblanc, Pietra di Serena and Amelia. With contemporary large format tiles still a popular choice we also added more products to the Tileworks range in our Autumn supplement to ensure our range remains fully on trend.
