Spa Style Bathrooms

Colours, textures and fittings all play a part in creating a seamless spa effect, think oversized chrome showerheads and glass shower panels. These materials work hand in hand with natural textures creating a feeling of calm for the perfect spa setting.
If you're looking to achieve this look in your home think about using wood effect tiles - not only are they practical in wet environments but they look brilliant teamed with modern fixtures and fittings. If you prefer soft whites, creams and greys then opt for some simplistic large format tiles like Amelia (shown above) with varied and subtle stone effect details. These also work well in smaller spaces as large format tiles result in fewer grout gaps helping to create a sense of space.
For many of us space in the bathroom is limited but accessories and small details can also create a relaxing space. Try a small panel of mosaics to add detail; this is also a great way of introducing some colour or a focal point.
For an authentic spa experience natural stone is the way to go, materials like Limestone and Tumbled Marblelend themselves to calming and tranquil environments. Try tumbled marble in Grigio for a timeless brick effect (shown below). Using genuine stone will help transform your bathroom into a calming sanctuary.
The right details can complete dreams of a spa style bathroom, starting with choosing the right tiles.
