Purpose Of the role

To develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy for all markets worldwide in line with the Company’s strategic plan and commercial business development. The role will be responsible for managing the product marketing, brand development and communications across all media activities. The different brands are aimed at different customers and routes to market and the marketing strategy must develop each brand and market accordingly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Directorate to develop the Company’s marketing strategy across all routes to market, making sure that the brands remain consistent but individually achieve their objectives.
  • Develop brand awareness, using all appropriate marketing tools.
  • Manage overall strategy for dealer and end customer communications, to keep Original Style at the forefront of their purchasing decisions.
  • Use all web sites, PR and social media platforms to achieve the above objective. The different web sites need to drive the relevant dealer/customer to the appropriate Original Style brand as well as drive the purchase decision.
  • Manage PR, advertising media, creative designers both in house and agency, website development and social media for the Company.
  • Analyse/evaluate customer relationship data and implement into key business activity areas.
  • Overall project management of U.K. and overseas exhibitions.
  • Develop and implement design strategy for new retail outlets.
  • Liaise with Production/Sales/Commercial to develop product pricing, driving both sales and profit.
  • Manage image creation for use in brochures, PR and Web – including the running of the in-house photography studio.
  • Development of brochure design and in-store display for our worldwide dealer network.
  • Review and monitor the Marketing budget to constantly show value for money from all decisions.
  • Develop and oversee the New Product process from concept through initiation to launch, maximising efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage, support and mentor all members of the Marketing Team to deliver team and individual objectives.
  • Endorse and promote a positive and conscious health and safety culture within the Company. Ensure always take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

Personal Specification:

  • A professional marketing qualification is desirable.
  • A degree or relevant business qualification.
  • Minimum of three years in a senior marketing role.
  • Knowledge and experience of a full service agency.
  • Experience of having worked in consumer product environment.
  • Experience of working closely with sales to launch a product to market.
  • Experience of managing an internal team and external agencies.
  • Experience of developing strategies in multiple overseas territories.
  • Creative thinker with the potential to develop the brand and profile of the Company.
  • Proven ability in creative design of interiors.
  • Experience of developing campaigns, especially web and PR creation.
  • Ability to develop excellent dealer communications.
  • Experience of customer relationship management system.

  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret information and possess excellent attention to detail
  • Due to the nature of the products we manufacture and distribute you would need to be able to distinguish colour ranges.
