Bathrooms come in all shapes and sizes and different styles, from glam to utilitarian, from minimalist to traditional. Most will include a shower whether it’s over a bathroom or a separate freestanding cubicle.
You can use tiles to add colour, texture, character and to reflect light. Here are a few ideas to show how tiles and mosaics can set the scene and help you achieve the style you are looking for:
- Traditional: The Cosmopolitan tiles from Winchester Tile Company are available in lots of gorgeous colours from China White to deep Lapis Blue. The tiles undulate slightly and are very glossy too. The Artworks Collection also has a huge choice of colours and formats from the square field tile to more contemporary brick shapes.
- Modern: Tileworks has a huge range of porcelain tiles and planks that look like wood, cement, natural stone and marble.
- Colourful: check out our Mosaics Collection. There's Ibiza (which will really wake you up in the morning), glass in a rainbow of colours, natural shell and natural stone. There is bound to be a mosaic right for your shower wall!
- Textured: natural stone tiles from Earthworks can be used for shower walls, and some stone mosaics are slip resistant enough for shower floors (always check a tile's suitability for use on wet floors to avoid slips)
