An Artworks bathroom makeover

David and Jennifer own a design agency in London so when it came to choosing a style they knew exactly what they wanted. After creating a scrapbook of ideas from Period Living Magazine and seeing the Artworks collection online, David and Jennifer visited their local retailer, Abbey Tiles. ‘We had a look at the whole Artworks collection and got to feel the quality and see the different colours’, David said.
After plenty of research David and Jennifer had a clear idea of the style they wanted to create in their four bathrooms and opted for a traditional design to complement the property’s Edwardian heritage. Here’s a look at their finished result:
David said ‘We have tried to pull together the interior with the exterior’. The outside of the house uses stone cladding so the interior needed to have a classic style too. ‘Although we have the design agency we have always loved classic country home style, you can either go modern or stay traditional’ he added.

In addition to timeless Artworks tiles, David and Jennifer also added high wooden skirting boards and mouldings to correspond with the rest of their period interior. David also added ‘we did look at some Victorian Floor Tiles for the bathroom floors but we decided on wood effect tiles instead as we wanted to keep the classic and timeless feel’
‘I went onto the Original Style website and got the reference shots and drew up a plan replicating a bathroom shown in the brochure. As a designer I wanted to have the perfect plan drawn up’, David said, adding ‘We are so pleased with the end result, it is just the look we were going for!’
