Description

"The Ormeaux Decorative Tile on Bastille introduces a vibrant and richly toned glaze to the Chateaux range. Its intricate pattern draws on influences from Persian pottery, Moroccan tilework and woven tapestries. The glossy Bastille glaze enhances the motif while the rustic clay base adds movement and texture. Used on its own, Ormeaux provides a bold decorative feature, and when combined with other Chateaux designs it helps create an immersive tapestry style installation.

This tile pairs perfectly with Field Tile Bastille and can be finished neatly using Torus Moulding Bastille or Ogee Moulding Bastille. These coordinating elements maintain strong colour continuity and help define edges or framed sections. Ormeaux on Bastille is well suited to kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms where saturated colour and detailed pattern bring warmth and personality. "

Important Information

These colours are made with a copper glaze and are prone to discolouration by mild acids, for example soap. To avoid this, clean with clean water and a soft cloth, then wipe dry. Recommended for dry areas only and not near any sinks or in showers.

Winchester tiles and mouldings may craze and no guarantee can be given against this happening. Crazed/crackle tiles must be sealed before fixing, then after grouting. Crazed/crackle will continue over time and as it occurs they should be sealed.
