2014: our year in review
Friday 19 December 2014, Written by Sarah Cole
What a year it's been! It's hard to believe that in a matter of days we'll be welcoming in 2015, but given how busy we've been it's no wonder that it's flown by.
This time next week, many of us will be recovering from too much turkey or relaxing and enjoying some much needed time off, so we thought we would take a look at some of this year's highlights today. It's been a full and productive year - we've worked hard to refresh a number of our ranges, as well as completing a total overhaul of some of our much-loved brochures (have you seen the new Victorian floor tile brochure? It could be our best yet!) Here are just a few of our best bits:
1. Our latest launch (the new additions to our pivotal Victorian Floor Tile range) were unveiled just last week, and we have already been overwhelmed with positive comments from our dealers and homeowners. We added a new selection of colours, shapes and patterns to show how geometric flooring tiles can be used in contemporary as well as traditional Victorian or Edwardian homes, as well as redesigning the brochure. It seems we succeeded!
2. Glassworks also received some attention, with more than 40 new products added to the collection. Mostly decorative, such as the Copper Leaf tile (below) which has already established itself as a firm favourite, hexagons and textured effects also made an appearance.
3. The Winchester Tile Company, another brand in the Original Style family famed for its gorgeous hand crafted tiles, unveiled a brand new website. With a new product catalogue, beautiful high resolution imagery and detailed product information, it's now easier than ever to discover the amazing tiles in the collections and get inspired.
4. Earlier in the year, our Tileworks collection gained many new products, from metallic effect to stone replica tiles all made from durable and easy to maintain porcelain. Realistic wood effect tiles have also come to the fore, becoming a favourite with homeowners and contract customers alike.
If you're still in need on some ideas to round off your year, head over to our inspiration pages for the very best of 2014.
All that remains now is to thank you for your continued support and
to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We'll be back in 2015 with even more exciting launches, beautiful tiles and inspiring projects.
See you then!
