Springing into spring – the best colours for a soothing interior

There's something about spring that suggests new beginnings, a fresh start and an opportunity to reinvent ourselves - anyone who commits to an annual Spring clean will attest to this! Whilst it's not quite here yet, blue skies and longer days suggests it's well on its way, so what better time is there to refresh your home?

Pastels are always extremely popular at this time of year, with soothing mint greens still very much in favour. As ever, Spring conjures images of fresh flowers in zesty shades. Yellow is always a favourite due to its connection with daffodils that pop up everywhere at this time of year. Including drop in feature tiles of flowers ordelicate butterflies (shown top) in a splashback or feature wall can serve as a nod to Spring days, and is sure to raise a smile, even in the depths of winter.

Foral tiles with a more contemporary edge (like Seville) are a great way of suggestions Spring details whilst keeping the look modern.
