Whilst we’re spending a lot more time at home during these spring months, many of us are taking the time to plan home improvement projects and think about the rooms we want to start updating.
For some, the kitchen is busier than ever and truly feels like the heart of the home! And whether you have a small, large or narrow kitchen, tiles can completely transform its look and feel, whilst adding practicality.
So we thought we’d round up some of our most inspiring kitchen ideas and give you some tiling tips for your next kitchen style update:
U shaped kitchen: This style of kitchen benefits from plenty of storage and wall tiles can help break up the cupboard units to add detail and interest. Try patterned tiles from our Odyssey and Living collections or opt for a white brick or metro tile with dark grey grout for a contemporary feel.
Galley Kitchen: Narrow kitchens can feel small, but reflective tiles are a great way to add the illusion of more space. Glass tiles are brilliant for this, as well as glossy, translucent glazed wall tiles from our Artworks and Winchester collections.
Large kitchen: Large kitchens benefit from more space, allowing for more style options, why not take a look at Victorian floor tiles for a heritage feel or try our Tileworks collection for stunning stone, wood and concrete effect wall and floor tiles in large formats to bring a real wow-factor.
Small kitchen: You needn’t compromise on style if you have a smaller kitchen, in fact you can add the illusion of space with large format tiles, as these have fewer grout lines, making areas feel bigger.
Here’s some ideas for all sorts of different styles of kitchen:
